The Zenna Argus-UHP is an affordable ultra-high-performance (UHP) tire that delivers a solid balance of performance, comfort, and value. Designed for drivers seeking a budget-friendly option without sacrificing too much on handling and grip, this tire is a popular choice for daily drivers and enthusiasts alike. Performance & Handling The Zenna Argus-UHP provides decent dry and wet traction for its price range. Its asymmetric tread design enhances stability and cornering, making it a good option for spirited driving. However, while it performs well in dry conditions, wet traction could be better, especially in heavy rain. Drivers may notice some slippage if pushing the tires too hard on wet roads. Comfort & Noise One of the standout features of this tire is its ride comfort. It absorbs road imperfections reasonably well for a UHP tire and doesn't produce excessive road noise. While not the quietest in its class, it holds up well against similarly priced competitors. Durability & Tread Life Treadwear is respectable, but as with most budget UHP tires, longevity depends on driving habits. With proper maintenance and rotation, you can expect a reasonable lifespan, though aggressive driving may wear them out faster.

If you’re looking for an ultra-high-performance tire, take a look at the features and benefits, strengths and weaknesses, vehicle compatibility, and other important details in this Zenna Argus UHP tire review to make a well-informed decision.
Features and Benefits
The Zenna Argus UHP is an ultra-high-performance tire that has a wider footprint and a low profile. It is designed to provide solid traction and better steering responsiveness at higher speeds. While UHP tires are usually optimized for performance in warmer months, when the temperature is more than 45 degrees Fahrenheit, the Argus UHP comes with enhanced capability to serve year-round in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions. Let’s now explore the tire’s key features and their corresponding benefits:
- Solid year-round traction – The Argus UHP is optimized for solid year-round performance in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions. The unique tread pattern has various biting edges and elements that allow the tire to provide traction in different weather conditions on paved roads.
- Enhanced stability and maneuvering – The tire is also optimized to offer enhanced stability and control while driving at high speeds. The tread design of the tire features solid shoulders and center ribs that ease maneuvering and boost cornering. The low profile and wider footprint also enhance the tire’s ability to steer in complete control, thus providing more confidence to the drivers to handle the vehicle at higher speeds.
- Quieter rides and maximized comforts – Zenna has taken care of two crucial aspects, the noise levels as well as the comfort. While the tread pitch sequencing and noise-treated tread compound of the tire keep the tread noise levels very minimal, the flexible rubber compound ensures smooth rides.
- Solid wet and dry grip – The tire maintains exceptional grip on wet and dry surfaces. The wider tread grooves evacuate water from the footprint for reduced hydroplaning resistance and better grip. The biting edges and sipes present on the tread help the tire maintain a solid grip while driving on dry surfaces.
- Longer tread life – The Argus UHP has optimum flexibility to provide maximized comforts, but at the same time its internal structure and tread rigidity are durable enough to provide slower and longer wear. The flat profile also adds to the advantage of providing a longer tread life as the driving pressures are evenly distributed across the tread for a longer and even wear.
- Good tread life warranty coverage – The tire is covered by a limited manufacturer tread life warranty of 40,000 miles, offering a higher value and purchase satisfaction to the buyers.
The good thing about the Zenna Argus UHP is its availability in 17- to 26-inch rim sizes, making it compatible with a larger set of sedans, coupes, convertibles, and sports cars. Some of its popular tire sizes include:

Love the ride but, and its a big BUT, they are the noisiest tires I've ever had on a car. I'm 76 and have had a lot ot cars and tires. The loud hum even over shadows the radio. Just bought them thru Walmart for my 22 Subaru ascent. So sorry I did, but on retirement income, can't afford to ditch them .
Tires i ordered came in a timely manner & when i needed the left two tires replaced a week after getting for all brand new tires the warranty helped replace the additional tires
Tires are great.
will def buy again and recommend
