Amazing tired and I plan to buy more soon!
Best tires I've bought and I'll definitely stay with this company and brand! There's so many unreliable tires that have failed on me. These are great and reliable!
Good!
Drift tires
I use them from fronts on my drift car I've done 9 events without having to Change them 100 laps low power car
They were a good cheap tire.
After i wore the Accelera tires out i bought Continental DWS06+ after, and a night and day difference it is. The Accelera is good if you need something cheap and temporary, but there are much safer options out there and you definitely get what you pay for.
Great Laps/$
I use these as rears for drifting on a stock power FRS. 215/45 usually run at @20-40 psi. Very even wear, consistent grip the entire life of the tire, and no delamination issues. Not much side bite but decent for a low power car. 10/10 cheap drift tire, great value per lap. Would not use these for grip driving.
350z - skip these
good for warm dry asphalt roads, suicide for down pours in 55 degrees or below when the road is that (if you call it that) concrete-stone mixture type road because this made me fish tail twice under normal throttle. If your road is anything like - for example: Rt 80 in NJ where patches of "concrete aggregate-like" slabs, then you're in for an adventure with these in a good spell of rain. I am shopping for known brand winter tires for my OEM 17" as soon as this gets submitted! Lesson learned - should have known better as a seasoned driver/auto enthusiast. Surprised these got such good ratings. What's with that?!
350z - skip these
Over the summer there were fine. Now it's winter and the weather when I first suspected a little slip was closer to 60 degrees in decent rain. Today it was 56 degrees F and decent rain again and I had a close call with some fish tailing and I wasn't slamming the gas or doing over 55 - ish on the freeway! On a rear wheel drive in a downpour (or cold with possible frost - forget ice!), this is risky - almost suicide to gas it if you need to get out the while in motion. When I ordered these the reviews seemed pretty positive - above average but not 4.9 out of 5 like but since it seems it dropped below 4.5 or so. If you are in a rainy state or where it is not decently warm year round, skip these for your rear wheel drive. Not sure how these would handle with AWD or front wheel drive but I would imagine just by physics of the drive power, they would be more forgiving. That said, be forewarned. Looking for winter tires on my stock 17" wheel as soon as I submit this review!
bought for my bmw and they've handled great so far
I hate to give the tire a 3 star review since I just got them and haven't even mounted them. But I'm just disappointed that they are labeled as 225/50R16 when they are actually 225/50ZR16... I bought these for my race car, but almost all the tracks I race at don't allow Z rated tires. Waste of time and money due to mislabeling on behalf of simple tire. Hopefully I can sell or return them.
