This is the second set I have purchased! Could not be happier with them..the first set I purchased were for my Ram 2500 6.7 and they have performed great. I was so pleased with them, when my Chevy Tahoe needed new tires, I bought a set for it also..extremely happy with both sets..

You may be surprised to know that Radar Tires, a relatively unfamiliar brand from Omni United, makes tires in compliance with the greatest regulatory standards and uses PAH-free oils to ensure sustainability. The all-terrain tire’s price is dependent on the selected size, and it receives several features for performing equally well on and off the road. Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certification enables it to be a solid winter tire. Not only is it backed by a limited manufacturer's warranty, but it also benefits from Radar’s Protect Program. This tire can be used on Jeeps, light trucks, and SUVs, and more information is available in the Radar Renegade A/T5 review below.
Features and Benefits
The Radar Renegade A/T5 has been designed to move reasonably fast despite being an all-terrain tire, as its available with the H speed rating. Expect it to be capable enough of carrying weights up to 1764 lbs. As symmetric all-terrain tires, these are able to provide great dry and wet traction, offering good hydroplaning resistance. During the Radar Renegade A/T5 tire review, we noticed the following features and benefits:
- Performs in severe snow conditions- Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certification has been awarded for great performance in moderate to severe snow.
- Great traction on different terrains- Multiple lateral grooves, computer-optimized tread blocks, and angled sipes enable great traction on different terrains. Stone Ejector technology prevents the stones from being lodged inside the tread and ensures consistent traction.
- Good stability and handling- Wide center blocks here are meant to balance the tire’s weight for enhancing stability and handling.
- Available warranty- This tire is backed by a limited manufacturer warranty of 50,000 miles and also features the Radar Protect Program.
- Resistant to punctures- A robust 3-ply construction is responsible for high resistance to punctures and wounds.

SimpleTire’s view on Radar Renegade A/T5 tires
Radar tires are designed in Singapore and are meant to offer a unique proposition in their segment, being a flagship brand from Omni United. As far as the Renegade A/T5 goes, we were impressed with its performance in sand, mud, and gravel due to the computer-optimized tread pattern. The tire gives Jeep, light truck, and SUV owners several options as it is available in many sizes, though they provide the best results when installed in vehicles with lift kits. Stone-ejector technology in this tire prevents stones from lodging and drilling into the tread, thereby increasing tire life and earning a high Radar Renegade AT/5 rating. To add to your confidence, a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer warranty and Radar’s Protect Program are available.
Not only does the all-terrain tire provide a great ride off-road, it also assures a great ride on paved roads. The all-terrain traction has been maximized due to a combination of angled sipes, multiple lateral grooves, and computer-optimized tread blocks. Even wear ensures that you can use them for several years, especially while covering long distances. Radar may not be a very well-known brand, but it sure incorporates several features in its tires made at state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. It is also a more affordable option as compared to the Sumitomo Encounter AT and Ironman All Country AT.
Vehicles the Radar Renegade A/T5 is a good replacement tire for
Since these tires are built for light trucks and SUVs, they are designed to remain in shape while being subjected to heavy loads. Expect them to deliver on and off-road traction throughout the year, whether in wet, dry, or light snow conditions, and staggered tread blocks are helpful for grip on loose, soft, and uneven surfaces. The self-cleaning ability of the treads helps remove mud, dirt, and other impurities for regular traction. Vehicles that can fit the Radar Renegade A/T5 and display great results include:
- RAM 2500
- Ford F-350
- Chevrolet Trailblazer
- GMC Acadia
- Honda Ridgeline
- Jeep Grand Cherokee
- Land Rover Range Rover
- Nissan Titan
- Toyota Tundra

Tons of vibration even after having balanced twice. Is there anything simple tire will do for me? I think these may be our of round tires. Wish I would have paid more and got name brand tires. Any refund or help from simple tire?
Have owned these a lil over a month now. So far, they perform well in dry and wet conditions. Haven't really had a chance to try out in snowy conditions and not had long enough to comment on the wear of them. So far, I'm pleased with them
If you're on a budget these tires aren't bad. But if you can afford to spend a couple hundred bucks more I'd go with something different. They're hard to balance, They don't do well on slick roads, and the road noise is extremely loud.
Purchased these for my SUV, primary for winter use. They have a higher load rating than the OEM tires and a much more aggressive tread. Smooth at highway speeds and do well in the snow. A bit of noise but not bad. My only complaint is the tread depth is not as deep as most higher end AT tires I have owned- I measured them at 12-13/32. Overall I WOULD BUY AGAIN.
33x12.5r22 on 1" rear 2.5" front lift 2018 Tahoe. These tires are very loud. They have a significant rumble when starting from a stop until 5 mph. Not many options for this tire size...I went with the "least aggressive" tread pattern...not satisfied. Way too loud, would not recommend nor would I buy again.
Good quality for the price
Will definitely order these again!!
