So far, I'm really impressed by the Pirelli Scorpion MTRs. These tires are surprisingly quiet for being mud tires. I did a lot of research before purchasing these tires, and I'm happy I decided to purchase these over the KO2s. They look really aggressive on my 4Runner and the off-road handling is superb. I look forward to driving in the Colorado mountain Snow this winter.

Great tire for a great price. Very quiet, especially in a jeep thats usually loud anyway. Good in rain, mud, and dry. Not sure about snow or tread wear, only had them 1 month.

These tires made me realize how much I drive on the interstate. Why you ask? Because even when going to 3 different tire shops and spending out the butt in balancing, road force balancing, whatever to get them balanced they still wobbled. I even got my rims checked because one of the guys said the tire was slightly deformed and thought it was my rim. My rims were perfectly straight, and my wallet was $75 less. It's the nature of these wheels, and no review seems to explain how much harsher your ride will be. I went in expecting a difference, from all seasons, but DAMN there is a massive difference. I took them off 2 weeks later from the stress of my steering wheel vibrating and the hum of the tires at 50+ MPH. Not to mention hitting a bump on the road at 70mph and your front tire wandering so much you see your life flash before your eyes. I did take the tires offroad on some overlanding rides and to get to some remote areas hauling a dirtbike and the confidence offroad is outstanding. But I feel like if you have these as your only tires and your rig isnt 50/50 on and off road then just get some milder tread and enjoy the comfort and save your ears. Currently these tires are for sale on facebook market because Pirelli conveniently has no warranty for these tires, so my set could have just been a bad batch, but i'll never know.

I have about 5000 miles on my MTR's and they are wearing well. They are a quiet tire for a mud tire. They handle snow and rain well. They also corner and stop well. I have them mounted on a lifted Liberty. It is pretty good with HT tires. It is a mountain goat with the Scorpions

I was unsure about these tires because reviews were hard to find and the ones I read were mixed. Read all the tire specs and design and thought if they could do what they claim I'd be happy. December will be 1 year on my Chevy 1500 4x4 and I am very pleased! Will be replacing these with the same when time comes. Thanks for this great tire!

Very happy with these tires so far. They're pretty much silent on the road, grip very nicely aired down a bit offroad. They're very heavy, I didn't know what to expect from a Pirelli mud tire, I put them on the scale and the 31x10.5 size is about 47.5 lbs each, so it's a stout tire for sure. Only gripe I have is they were extremely difficult to seat the bead during install.

Get technical:

An all-terrain tire needs an aggressive high-void tread that expels mud and debris so there's always a clear section of tire to dig in, a robust casing, reinforced sidewalls and rim protection, and that's exactly what you can expect with the Pirelli Scorpion MTR. Designed for four wheel drive vehicles, the Scorpion MTR offers excellent traction on sand, mud, loose dirt, gravel and snow, while still offering good road manners and handling on pavement.
