I have always bought these Gladiator trailer tires. I put a set of these, size 235/80-r16 load range F 16ply, on my 5th wheel camper. I purchased these in April of 2022, it is now November of 2024 and the belts have broken on 3/4 tires. The tread is beginning to separate on the shoulder of the tires, they are bouncing and vibrating the truck and trailer going down the road. My truck records mileage when it's hooked to my 5th wheel and these tires didn't make it to even 10k miles. I haven't looked lately but I believe they didn't even make it 5k miles. I would steer clear because these tires are not what they once were.

Trailer tires might look a lot like light truck tires, but they have some pretty significant differences in design and construction. Trailer tires have a unique set of stresses and loads, which is why tire makers specify that light truck tires shouldn’t be used for trailers, and trailer tires should never be used on vehicles. The Gladiator QR25-TS is a trailer tire with an average SimpleScore of 7.7 that’s designed for camper trailers and light industrial use, and is available in a variety of sizes and load ratings for your application. Let’s go in for a closer look with this Gladiator QR25-TS review:

SimpleTire’s view on Gladiator QR25-TS Trailer tires
For light to medium trailering duties, the Gladiator QR25-TS is an excellent choice. The QR25-TS is designed for stable, composed towing at highway speeds (the N speed rating is much higher than you’ll find on many trailer tires), and the tread pattern encourages excellent straight-line tracking with minimal trailer sway or wander. Wet-weather performance is good, as the Gladiator’s four wide circumferential grooves are designed to efficiently remove water from the tire’s contact patch and resist hydroplaning.
With a ply rating of up to 14, the Gladiator QR25-TS would be a great selection for larger, heavier camper trailers. Its combination of steel belts, a polyester casing and nylon cap ply make it a durable tire that’s very stable at highway speeds. The ozone-resistant tread formulation is a welcome feature as well, considering how many trailers spend months outside in the weather and may not be driven very frequently. As always, the Gladiator QR-25 TS is purpose-built as a trailer tire and should never be mounted on vehicles.
Vehicles the Gladiator QR25-TS Trailer is a replacement tire for
The Gladiator QR25-TS would be a good trailer tire for applications such as:
- Livestock haulers
- Toy haulers for motorcycles, jet skis, etc
- Equipment trailers for landscaping, construction, and remodeling
- Small to medium-size camper trailers
- Boat trailers
- Car haulers

The tires are very good i have 4 sets of tires on 2 trailers and my camper and they all have good tread wear so far so good.
Great tire for the price so far. Only been 9 months, but so far so good.
I bought these tires in late summer 2021. I have a 30' gooseneck steel trailer (8 tires). The trailer itself is plenty heavy. I pull this trailer all over IL doing highway work. I take it on the interstate driving 70mph ( and maybe just a little more :P ), gravel roads and off road through the ditches, etc. I usually don't overload it, but I often load it to close to it's max. I can't say how many miles I've pulled this trailer, but its quite a few. These tires have lasted well. Only had flats when I ran over something. I also like that they wore pretty evenly. That tells me they handled the loads I put on them well. I guess my review can be summed up by the fact I'm buying another round of these tires. Actions speak louder than words.
Highly recommend
