  • Atlas Tires is a part of LingLong, and is one of the most experienced tire brands in the USA. Atlas prides itself on delivering affordable and feature-rich tires for a range of vehicles, such as passenger cars, light trucks, and commercial vehicles. The company manufactures a range of tires in different categories, such as all-season, mud-terrain, performance, ultra-high-performance, all-terrain, etc.

The Atlas Paraller M/T is a mud-terrain tire designed for use on Jeeps, light trucks, and SUVs. In this Atlas Paraller M/T tire review, we will take a look at some of the features and benefits of the tire, its pros and cons, and SimpleTire’s views on the tire.

    Features and Benefits

Mud-terrain tires are commonly used on Jeeps, light trucks, and SUVs and are designed to excel in mud, dirt, sand, gravel, rock, and other off-road terrains. These tires generally come with an aggressive tread pattern that can provide reliable and consistent traction on loose terrains and is also reinforced for durability and to prevent damage.

Being a mud-terrain tire, the Paraller M/T is designed to offer consistent traction and performance on challenging terrains. To achieve this feat, the tire is designed using an asymmetric tread pattern for better grip, handling, and steering performance. Let’s take a look at some of the features and benefits of the tire.

    • Consistent traction: The aggressive block placement, staggered blocks, open shoulders, and high void-ratio ensure consistent and reliable traction.
    • Optimized performance: The staggered blocks and high void ratio also prevent mud and snow from blocking surface contact and the stone ejecting ribs prevent stone retention for optimized performance.
    • Enhanced steering response: The aggressive footprint is designed for improved surface contact, which in turn, helps enhance steering response and driving stability.
    • Longer tread life: The stabilized tread elements and robust tire compound increased the durability of the tire.

The Atlas Paraller M/T is available in a variety of tire sizes ranging from 15 to 26 inches and can be used for big fitments as well. Moreover, the tire is backed by a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty.

    Pros and Cons

Now that we know more about the features and benefits of Atlas Paraller M/T, let’s also take a look at some of its pros and cons.

    • Solid and consistent traction on uneven and challenging terrains.
    • Designed to be durable and maximize surface contact for enhanced performance.
    • Backed by a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty.
    • Available in several tire sizes.

While these pros make a good case for the Atlas Paraller M/T, also consider these cons.

    • No Three Peak Mountain Snowflake Certification
    • The tires can be noisy as expected from a mud-terrain tire.
    • Ride comfort is subpar.

SimpleTire’s view on Atlas Paraller M/T tires

If you are looking for a set of affordable and reliable mud-terrain tires, the Paraller M/T might be a good fit for you. Designed to ensure consistent performance, enhanced durability, and performance, these tires are a great choice for drivers who enjoy exploring the outdoors. Also, consider the Hankook Dynapro MT2 RT05 if you want better durability (8.5 v 8.1) and traction (8.2 v 8). However, the Atlas Paraller M/T offers much better longevity (8.7 v 8) and is significantly cheaper.

Vehicles the Atlas Paraller M/T is a good replacement tire for

For about $1000 installed these are pretty decent tires so far. I have only had them for the summer months but have over 5000 miles on them. They are 4x4 tires, so they do make noise but not like some that I have heard. They look aggressive and seem to have good traction(at least on dry pavement.) they balanced well, I don't really have any complaints as far looks and noise. They do seem to be wearing, but should get a good 30,000 miles from them. I would post a picture because the photo on the website does the tires no justice, but I don't see a way to post anything. Anyways, these are a good looking cheap tire.

I was very happy to shop this site for the first time during black Friday and while I was shopping for tires the site would recommend tires that were Higher rated while I was browsing and pricing tires in the size of my truck which is hard to find 35x13.5x22LT I ended up finding very high rated 8.8 Atlas tires for around $300 per tire. The local Discount tire told me that the only tires that would fit my rim and that they sell were Nitto grapplers and wanted north of $500 per tire and after installation and taxes almost $3000. I spent about half of that by purchasing my tires on Simpletire.com and paid less than $200 for local mounting and balancing. I have been extremely pleased with that decision. Also my new Atlas Parallel tires come with 50,000 mile warranty and the Nitto's and most other LT truck tires do not have a mileage warranty at all.

Mounted easy and balanced out pretty well (3@less than 3 oz, 1@4.5 oz.) with minimal runout (less than ?...?"). However, the customer specifically ordered these because they were OWL in the description, and they are NOT OWL in a 235/85R16, at least. But seem to be good tires for the price -
