  • The Accelera tires is a great name when we talk about ultra-high-performance tires for light trucks, 4x4s, passenger cars, minivans, and crossovers. You get a combination of durability, traction, and precise handling along with long, even tread wear.

The Accelera Iota is designed to be both elegant and reliable. The superior tread design combined with a silica compound technology enables Accelera to be able to overcome aqua planning forces on the wet road. It also has low rolling resistance to save energy. If you're seeking a self-supporting tire that delivers year-round traction, even in light snow, the Accelera Iota could be the perfect choice. Let's delve into this Accelera Iota review.

    Features and Benefits

All-season tires are renowned for performing well in regions with moderate temperatures throughout the year. Similarly, the Accelera Iota excels in dry, wet, and light winter conditions, providing a secure grip on the road. These tires also offer lower rolling resistance for improved fuel economy. Here are some key features and benefits of the Accelera Iota:

    • Responsive handling: The three interlocked block lanes in the Accelera Iota provide directional stability and quick steering response that leads to improved wear and snow performance.
    • Reduced hydroplaning: The main grooves on the Accelera Iota minimize the risk of hydroplaning, even as the tires wear down as they clear water from the surface area in contact with the road.
    • Improved traction: Exclamation sipes ensure balanced traction on slippery surfaces, enhancing safety.

The Iota is available in wheel sizes ranging from 18-inch to 21-inch, catering to a wide array of vehicles. Additionally, it comes with Accelera's 30,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty.

    Pros and Cons

The Accelera Iota is a great tire, offering drivers solid traction and handling performance year-round. However, it's crucial to consider whether it's the right fit for your vehicle. Let's break down the pros and cons:

    PROS:

    • Better hydroplaning resistance.
    • Three interlocked block lanes provide directional stability and quick steering response
    • Exclamation sipes help to break thin layering of water and deliver traction in wet weather conditions
    • Backed by a 30,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty

    CONS:

    • The ride may feel firmer compared to its closest premium competitors.
    • Some tread noise may be experienced on rough pavement.
    • Should not be used in moderate to severe winter weather conditions.
    • Specifically designed for a limited segment of vehicles.

These tires are cheap and very noisy! While going down the road at any speed they emit lots of noise. At highway speed they are beyond noisy. Never again.

I bought a set of these for my 17 Porsche Macan GTS AWD. They do terrible in the snow so I'm not sure why they call them All Season, 3 season at best. I've put less than 7,000 miles on them and the rear tires are BALD now. Yes my alignment is fine. I never saw a tire that went bald that fast in my life. We realized this when my wife almost spun out going over a puddle last week. I was't expecting a miracle tire for this price but expected them to last more than 7,000 miles. Cannot rotate tires on the Macan due to different size on front and rear but these tires wore evenly just the same, they just are BALD now. My advise...................Do not buy this brand of tire unless you don't value your wallet or your life.

Tires are eh... SimpleTire on the other hand is terrible, my first time using them and definitely the last...dont buy from them they dont have it together, the customer service People are not working with the Distributers, it took three tries of sending tires back forth and each time I received the wrong tires from what I had originally ordered, simple tire was only able to send me another set of the same wrong tires three times and they were unwilling to make it right...what I received for my 2009 BMW X5 4.8 sport with a staggered offset was., the first set had a date code of 2008?! and a rear tire set of the tread pattern I wanted, but a front tire set of a completely different tread pattern and both sets are right hand tires because they are directional, now I had two old dated right side fronts and two right side rears, I had contacted the actual manufacturer and they do infact make the left side of both tread patterns, I just was not given the left sides for whatever reason, I tried to let them get it right by just sending me the lefts, even giving them a part number from the manufacturer, then just sending a matched set of the tread of either front or rear then a third time they tried again but same set, but this time a 2018 date code..ok I guess ..at least they where new, so then I tried to have them put on at a tire place...nope .. they wouldn't do it because of major difference in the tread and compounds and no lefts, four different tire shops wouldnt do it for safety reasons, so I found I guy who had a tire machine in his garage and we changed them out because I had no other choice, the current tires were extremely bald and showing metal and were extremely unsafe, I was down to the wire and had to get new rubber on and I had these in hand ..Simple Tire was not willing to do anything more after three tries and said I was on my own....I now have these on currently and it is what it is nothing special, it definitely handles poorly in wet weather im assuming because of the incorrect direction, I have ordered another set from Discount Tire Direct, they came in two days they are correct to what I ordered just a bit more expensive, but now I am out the $500 cost of these incorrect tires because Simple Tire could not get it right. Thanks but no thanks...tried to included a photo but its not showing...

The tread looks like it was designed for an off road vehicle. The tread design did not look like the image shown. And after inspection, the tire were 6 years old. Extremely upset and dissatisfied. The rubber was very hard due to the age and will probably fail because of this. After this final purchase, I will never order from Simpletire again. Buyer beware.

i bought these tires based on what other people wrote on their reviews. I was pressed for time, and had to embark on a long trip. i bought them. They came in two days. I had them put on my SUV and away i went. 460 miles on the first trip and another 500 the following week. All this in 120 scorching degrees weather in Arizona in the middle of August. At high speeds!!! (our speed limit is 75mph). These tires were ABSOLUTELY QUIET! no road noise. Tremendous grip braking and around the corners. My SUV weighs over 6000Lbs. It made it feel like it had new suspension all around. YES. That good. Coincidentally i was checking the tires a few days back, and i haven't even noticed any scuffing or abnormal wear on the tires. Very happy on the first two thousand plus miles driven on these tires. Time will tell. Sooner than later, I drive long distances quite often. Wet, winter and snow?.... They do not apply to me. We ain't got none of that stuff here!!! definitely, money well spent on a good high performance tire!!!
